I need to retrieve a mini DV tape from my JVC GR-D90U camcorder. Problem unit is dead!?
The camcorder will not turn on even when I connect the AC cable or battery. I've replaced the battery with a new JVC battery which was fully charged but the camcorder did not turn on. I've tried firmly tapping on the camcorder, wiggling the AC cable but nothing works. THANK YOU!
Is there a manual tape release lever or button?
there is no lever or manual release button on camcorders.
best is bringing it to a jvc service center. there they can remove the tape without damage to both the tape and the camcorder. You'll getting the camcorder fixed as well.
is that a great idea or just a great idea?!
