Why one of my goldfish floating on the surface of the tank about an hour after eating?
It has a short side end of any so if the balance is not perfect, but after eating it floats on top for a while but then it is fine again later. Does anyone know why this is and what I can do to help?
Did you sprinkle of flakes over the water? If yes, it is possible that your fish has gas. When they come to the surface and swallow the food down, so will a lot of air for the ride. It is safest of wet food in a cup and use a turkey baster to expel the food below the surface. .
