Do you need to bring a swimsuit to Navy boot camp or do you swim in something they issue?

You can bring your own, but it should be a plain, simple, one-piece that's not flashy (black/dark color preferably). However, they do have one that you can purchase, it's not issued to you.
At least that's how it was 10 years ago.
And I'm specifically talking about for females. I believe the males get shorts issued which are also used as PT gear. Females get these shorts too, but get to swim in actual swimsuits.
