I need ideas for a 7 year old rock star birthday party any suggestions?
My brother is having his 7th birthday party in 2 days, last night my parents told me I was in charge of games. He wants a rock star party, but I've only found 2 games! I need help! What are some ideas?
I've found that when it comes to birthday parties, always do games with prizes.
You could do freeze-dance, winner gets a price.
A simple dance contest, with you and maybe one or two others as judges, winner gets a prize.
If you have guitar hero, there you go.
A singing/karaoke contest, winner(s) get prize(s).
Telephone Game – Have everyone sit in a circle and one person whispers something to the person next to them, and so on, until the secret goes all around the circle. (You are “testing your ears” from the loud music rock stars hear when they are on stage all the time)
You could spend a portion of the party applying fake tattoos to the kids.
Make a Music Video -- You could send groups into another room and give them, say, 15 minutes to create a 30 second routine to a song, and they can perform it!
Just a few other, non-game related tips:
Using Christmas lights and blow-up guitars will make the area look like a stage.
You could give every kid a bandanna when he/she walks in the house.
Running red wrapping paper from the door to the party area, and a VIP sign would be cool.
