how to adjust the timing on a Chrysler Fifth Avenue 1987.?
I know that the Chrysler 318 is not adjusted the same as a motor standard. I need to know what all you need to do to set the timing.
if it has a distributor, you neeed to mark the crankshaft with the whites, connect a timing light to the battery and your number 1 candle. From there you can start the car and spin the distributor slightly in advance and retard timing. it's an easy job. btw, theres a bolt in the bottom of the distributor you need to loosen before thrying to adjust the distributor.
